Examination of the child's heart.The foetal echocardiography examines the (baby’s) heart including vessels leading to and from the heart with the help of high-resolution ultrasound.
Colour Doppler examination can help to recognise malformation of vessels.

Examination of the child's brain.
Depiction of the child’s brain and its blood flows (colour Doppler) with the help of high-resolution ultrasound.
Genetic ultrasound
With genetic ultrasound one looks for typical genetic anomalies, so-called soft markers such as missing umbilical cord vessels or anomalies of the heart.
